About Ensign Software

Ensign Software, Inc. was founded in 1981 by Howard Arrington. Ensign’s first technical analysis charting software was MS-DOS based and designed for use with the Bonneville Market Information (BMI) data-feed. The software was very popular and used by many traders in the United States and Canada. In the early 90's the software was ported to the Windows operating system. Over the years, many new data feed sources and powerful features have been added to the program. The internet has allowed Ensign to reach new markets and help traders around the globe. Ensign charting software has been used by thousands of traders in over 60 countries.

In the winter of 2024 Howard sold Ensign Software, Inc. to Mike LaMont who has owned and operated Software Support LLC for over 3 decades. Software Support has been providing dedicated support for Ensign Software since the mid 1990's. Ensign Software Support, Inc. continues to develop and enhance charting and technical analysis features. Ensign 10 is the current software release, and is filled with many powerful features.
